Lumberjacks Find Success at Bingham Cup
After four (long) years of anticipation from Amsterdam, the 2022 edition of the Bingham Cup was hosted by the Ottawa Wolves from August 18 through August 21 in Ottawa, Canada. The event was a huge success both on, and off, the pitch as the Lumberjacks were able to finish preliminary competition first in their group, and second, in their tier (Challenger).
The Portland Lumberjacks finished group play 3-0, earning three bonus-point victories, and helping secure the most successful Bingham Campaign in the team’s seven-year history!
Scottish Warriors: 20-7

Vancouver Rogues: 24-0
After promotion from the Challenger Tier to the Hoagland Tier for bracket play, the Lumberjacks were able to prove that they were able to compete, and win, even at a higher level, despite numerous injuries, and a limited roster.

London King’s Cross Steelers: 32-0 (Hoagland Shield Semi-Final)
Washington Renegades: 0-13 (Hoagland Shield Final)
The Lumberjacks look to build upon their Ottawa adventures, as they begin league play in September. Practice begins Wednesday, Sept. 7th from 7pm to 9pm at Montavilla Park. Practices will continue on Mondays, and Wednesdays, throughout the fall season at the same time, and same location!
